Taking part in the project
Museums, universities, cities and patrons can help create this institution. Work begins with a specific contribution and an agreement on how to develop it.
An international
cultural alliance.
We invite institutions from different countries to help create the museum. Each can make a specific contribution: research, educational experience, resources for an exhibition or a place to develop the project.
The network is in development. Collaborations will be announced once agreements are in place with participating institutions.

Research and develop content
Universities, museums and heritage specialists can propose research, review the narrative or develop an exhibition. The first step is to agree a subject, a team and the materials to be shared.

Bring learning to more people
Public institutions, schools and cultural organisations can help design and trial activities. We propose starting with an experience about water and agreements, with a defined group and specific learning aims.

Support a stage of the project
Foundations, businesses, families and patrons can support research, a prototype or the museum’s development. Each contribution will have an agreed purpose and reporting arrangements, preserving scholarly independence.

Give the museum a home
Work with the founders to assess a location, its relationship with the city and the resources needed to build it and sustain its cultural and educational work.
Talk to Rafa and OlgaThe Founding Circle
The Founding Circle invites people and institutions to support the museum’s first steps. Participation will be agreed individually, according to each contribution and the stage of the project it helps develop.
Talk to Rafa and OlgaBeginning with water
The first proposal is to try an irrigation table with a school group. Moving the water, observing which fields receive less and agreeing a distribution will allow the group to explore a question that is both historical and everyday. The session will help improve the experience before it becomes part of a permanent gallery.
Prepare the question
Agree with the school what the group will learn and what it needs to participate.
Design the experience
Bring the team together, review historical sources and prepare the prototype, materials and budget.
Try it and learn
Run the session once resources and permissions are approved. Listen to pupils and teachers, review the results and decide what to improve.
A proposal coordinated by the founders. The education lead, budget and timetable are to be agreed with the participating institution. Registration is not yet open.
